Here is another lovely Calochortus, Calochortus longebarbatus, from the eastern parts of Washington and Oregon. There is a subspecies called C. longebarbatus v. peckii, which is supposed to make hundreds of offsets. I wish it would! I have had it in my possession for some years, but it doesn't offset any more than the others. I have neither available at the moment, but hope to have some in the future.
Nice flower dude! I heard some have about this flower, that it is used in some kind of rare medicines.
But it is not good to hear that kind of flower is very rare to find.
